Our Team

Jerrah King

I have been working in the Pleasant Hill community since the Fall of 2012. With a lifetime of animal experience, and an insatiable need to expand my knowledge and skill base, the field of veterinary medicine has been a great field to work in. I began working for a vet in my home town while in high school. I later became licensed as a technician and completed my bachelor’s in Biology at OSU with a minor in business. I have enjoyed providing quality patient care and an educational experience for people looking to improve the quality of life for their pet.

Tamlyn Kalal

Tamlyn resides here locally in Pleasant Hill. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in Environmental Studies. She adores working with animals and loves that she can make a difference in people’s lives through Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital. She has two cats (Fish & Frank), a lab mix puppy (Apollo) and her partner Austyn. She loves the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, fishing, snowboarding or just gardening on a beautiful day.

Jessica Trout

After being raised on a farm, a career with animals came naturally. Just after high school I started working at a coastal Veterinary Hospital. My love for science, and the need to learn, contribute to my success over the last 11 years. I have had several inspirational mentors and have attended numerous educational classes and seminars giving me a wide variety of skills. I am excited for many more years filled with opportunities to perfect my skills and add new ones.

Kristen Schindeldecker

I’m a veterinary assistant with over a decade in the veterinary field. I originally hail from Chicago, but moved to the area over 3 years ago and haven’t looked back. I LOVE Oregon and everything this state has to offer. I have worked in Emergency and Specialty practices but really enjoy working at Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital and educating clients on how to give the best care to their pets. I have a special needs cat named Speedy and a mountain climbing Shih Tzu named Moe. In my free time, I enjoy backpacking trips in the mountains with my dog, hitting the beach, canoeing, and being creative in the kitchen.

Michele Larsen

Making a difference with pet owners and their pet’s well being is what really drives Michele, she loves helping and educating new pet owners and watching as their babies grow up. She has two senior cats. Star, who is almost 22 years old and Titan, who is 17 years old, she adopted them from the first veterinarian hospital she worked for in California. She also has two children, a son, Jered who is 28 years old and getting married in August and a daughter, Sierra who is 26 years old and lives in California. She loves Kayaking and hiking in her spare time.
